HTC One A9, the first out of the box Android Marshmallow phone launched in US. As of today, the A9 Marshmallow is not available in India. The handset is priced at $399.99 (approximately Rs. 26,000) in company’s online store. It will be available in Opal Silver, Carbon Grey, Deep Garnet and Topaz Gold colour variants.
The HTC One A9 runs on the HTC Sense skin based on Android Marshmallow 6.0. It comes with the Corning Gorilla Glass 4 which is layered over a 5-inch 1080×1920 pixels Full HD resolution display. The handset is being powered by a 64-bit 1.GHz octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor. The device weighs 143 grams and measures 7.26mm thick.
The One A9 comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with sapphire colour lens. The rear camera got some fabolous features such as f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, BSI sensor, OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), support for 1080p video recording, and a LED flash module. There is an secondary camera of 4 ultrapixel for good selfies. The camera can record videos upto 1080p resolution.
The handset launched in 2GB RAM – 16GB Internal and 3GB – 32 GB Internal variants. The both handsets can be expanded upto a whopping 2TB via microSD card.
The smartphone supports 4G LTE connectivity. It has some general connectivity features i.e. 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB and headphone jack (3.5mm). Its a single sim handset supporting nano-SIM.
The HTC One A9 comes with a removable 2150mAh battery which is decent for a 5-inch display device.
